Guidant Financial is seeking a Retirement Plan Operations Specialist to learn the full process of administering, testing, and reporting on 401(k) plans. You will review client documents, update on progress, and assist with year-end reporting including Form 5500.

You will work with clients nationwide in a fully remote capacity and gain practical experience through accelerated learning and practical assignments. A strong background in back-office finance and Excel is valued.

Competenze

• 1–5 years of adjacent back-office financial operations experience.
• Direct retirement-plan operations experience preferred (401(k)/IRA administration, 5500 reporting).
• Proficiency with Excel, Word and Outlook required.
• Associate's or bachelor's degree preferred in business/finance.
• Knowledge of 401(k) plan structure and IRS/DOL regulations preferred.

Mansioni

• Interact with clients to obtain information for annual reporting.
• Review client documents for completeness and accuracy.
• Reconcile plans using Excel and admin software.
• Perform 401(k) testing and reporting using filing tools.
• Prepare IRS Form 5500 and other government filings.
• Educate clients on 401(k) plan administration and documents.
• Share knowledge and explain complex topics clearly.
• Training on Retirement Plan Administrator concepts.
• Perform other duties as required.
