Guidant Financial is hiring a Retirement Plan Operations Specialist to learn and administer 401(k) plans remotely. You will review client documents, assist with annual reporting, and prepare government filings such as the Form 5500.

The role offers accelerated on-the-job training and growth toward more senior retirement-plan responsibilities. You will work with clients nationwide, leveraging Excel and specialized software to ensure accuracy, timely updates, and compliance.

Qualifikationen

• Experience in document review and transaction processing
• 1–5 years in adjacent back-office financial operations
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
• Direct retirement-plan operations experience preferred
• Experience with reconciliation as a daily responsibility preferred
• Bachelor's or Associate degree in business/finance or related field preferred
• Basic knowledge of 401(k) plan structures and IRS/DOL regulations preferred

Aufgaben

• Work with clients to obtain information to prepare annual reporting
• Review documents submitted by clients for completeness and accuracy
• Reconcile plans using Excel and administration software
• Use filing software to prepare 401(k) government filings (e.g., IRS Form 5500)
• Educate clients about retirement plan administration
• Maintain and update clients on progress during plan year reporting
• Perform extra duties as required
