Job summary

Guidant Financial is seeking a Retirement Plan Operations Specialist to learn the full process of administering and reporting on 401(k) plans. You will review client documents, assist with year-end filings, and use Excel and specialized software to run testing and reporting.

Work from home with accelerated training and ongoing development, while supporting entrepreneurs nationwide as Guidant advances toward ESOP ownership and a focus on client success.

Qualifications

• Experience with document review and transaction processing in back-office finance.
• 1–5 years in adjacent financial operations such as benefits, wires, tax prep, or compliance.
• Degree in business/finance or equivalent work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review client documents for completeness and accuracy.
• Prepare annual 401(k) plan filings including IRS Form 5500.
• Use Excel and administration software to perform testing and reporting.
• Communicate progress to clients and educate them on plan administration.
• Support year-end reporting and required government filings.
