Job summary

Guidant Financial is hiring a Retirement Plan Operations Specialist for a fully remote role across select US states. You will learn the full process of administering 401(k) plans, review client documents, and help with year-end reporting, including the IRS Form 5500.

The position emphasizes accelerated training and growth within a values-driven ESOP journey. You will work with clients, perform reconciliations, and prepare government filings while gaining expertise in retirement-plan operations

Qualifications

• Experience with document review and transaction processing as daily job responsibilities.
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Direct retirement-plan operations experience (401(k) or IRA administration, reporting, testing) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work with clients to obtain information for annual reporting.
• Review documents for completeness and accuracy.
• Reconcile plans using Excel and administration software.
• Perform 401(k) testing and reporting with filing software.
• Prepare 5500 filings and educate clients on plan administration.
