Job summary

Guidant Financial in the United States is seeking a Retirement Plan Operations Specialist for a fully remote role. You will learn to administer, test and report on 401(k) plans, progressing from document review to basic plan reporting with year-end filings.

Accelerated training will prepare you to handle IRS Form 5500 and ensure client satisfaction. You will reconcile plans, perform 401(k) testing, and educate clients about plan administration using Excel and filing software.

Qualifications

• Experience with document review and transaction processing.
• Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or related field preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Review client documents for completeness and accuracy.
• Assist with annual 401(k) reporting and IRS Form 5500 filings.
• Reconcile plans and perform 401(k) testing using administration software.
• Educate clients about 401(k) plan administration and documents.
• Communicate progress to clients and respond to inquiries during plan year.
