LCS Financial Services Corporation is seeking a Remote Collections Specialist to join our team from home in the United States. Bring 2+ years of third-party debt collection experience and strong negotiation skills to help reach favorable resolutions while complying with applicable laws.

You'll work in a performance-driven environment, manage high-volume accounts, and have the opportunity to earn based on performance. Remote role in approved states with a Monday–Friday daytime schedule.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of third-party debt collection experience.
• Proven ability to manage accounts and negotiate settlements.
• Excellent verbal communication and active listening.
• Working knowledge of debt collection laws and regulations.
• Experience in high-volume collections environments.
• Familiarity with skip-tracing tools and CM systems.
• Previous experience meeting or exceeding collection goals.
• Bilingual English/Spanish communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage inbound and outbound collection calls to negotiate resolutions.
• Negotiate payment arrangements and settlements based on borrowers' finances.
• Utilize skip-tracing tools to locate borrowers and assets.
• Prioritize accounts and actions to maximize recovery opportunities.
• Work toward individual and departmental performance goals.
• Maintain accurate account documentation.
• Deliver professional interactions while handling difficult conversations.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local collection laws and policies.
