Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of third-party debt collection experience.
• Ability to negotiate payment arrangements and settlements.
• Knowledge of debt collection laws and regulations.
• Proficient telephone and listening skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experienced in high-volume collections environments.
• Bilingual English/Spanish communication skills.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding goals.

Responsibilities

• Manage inbound and outbound calls to negotiate resolutions.
• Negotiate payment plans and settlements based on borrower finances.
• Use skip-tracing to locate borrowers and assets.
• Prioritize accounts to maximize recovery opportunities.
• Maintain accurate account documentation.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state and local laws.
