Ideal candidates have at least 2 years in third-party debt collection, strong negotiation skills, and bilingual English/Spanish abilities, with a track record of meeting collection goals in a high-volume, remote workspace.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in third-party debt collection.
• Proven ability to negotiate payment arrangements.
• Excellent verbal communication and listening skills.
• Knowledge of debt collection laws and regulations.
• Bilingual English/Spanish communication.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Manage inbound and outbound collection calls to negotiate resolutions.
• Negotiate payment arrangements and settlements based on borrowers' finances.
• Use skip-tracing to locate borrowers and assets.
• Manage assigned portfolios and prioritize actions to maximize recoveries.
• Maintain accurate and detailed account documentation.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws and policies.
• Deliver professional interactions while handling difficult conversations.
• Meet or exceed collection goals.
