Job summary

LCS Financial Services Corporation seeks an experienced Collections Specialist to join a nationwide remote team. You will manage inbound and outbound calls, negotiate payment arrangements, and utilize skip-tracing tools to locate borrowers while ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local laws.

Ideal candidates have at least 2 years in third-party collections, strong negotiation and communication skills, and the ability to work in a high-volume environment from a home office.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of third–party debt collection experience.
• Proven ability to manage collection accounts and negotiate successful payment arrangements.
• Excellent verbal communication, active listening, and telephone etiquette.
• Working knowledge of applicable debt collection laws and regulations.
• Ability to maintain a professional, distraction–minimized remote workspace suitable for confidential conversations.
• Experience working in a high–volume collections environment.
• Familiarity with skip–tracing tools and collection management systems.
• Bilingual English/Spanish communication skills.
• Previous experience consistently meeting or exceeding collection goals.

Responsibilities

• Manage inbound and outbound collection calls to negotiate resolutions on delinquent accounts.
• Negotiate payment arrangements and settlements based on borrowers' financial circumstances.
• Use skip-tracing tools to locate borrowers and assets.
• Manage assigned portfolios and prioritize collections to maximize recovery.
