Job summary

LCS Financial Services Corporation is seeking an experienced Remote Collections Specialist to join our team. You will handle inbound and outbound calls, negotiate settlements, and use skip-tracing tools to locate borrowers while ensuring compliance with laws and company policies.

Work from home with a Monday–Friday schedule. Prioritize high-volume collections and maintain precise documentation. This role requires bilingual English/Spanish communication and a professional remote workspace.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of third-party debt collection experience.
• Proven ability to manage collection accounts and negotiate settlements.
• Excellent verbal communication and active listening.
• Knowledge of debt collection laws and regulations.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to maintain a professional remote workspace.
• Experience in a high-volume collections environment.
• Familiarity with skip-tracing tools and collection systems.
• Bilingual English/Spanish communication.
• History of meeting or exceeding collection goals.

Responsibilities

• Managing inbound and outbound collection calls to negotiate resolutions on delinquent accounts.
• Negotiating payment arrangements and settlement agreements based on borrowers' individual financial circumstances.
• Utilizing skip-tracing tools and investigative techniques to locate borrowers and relevant assets.
• Managing assigned account portfolios and prioritizing collection activities to maximize recovery opportunities.
• Consistently working toward individual and departmental performance goals.
• Maintaining accurate and detailed account documentation.
• Delivering professional, respectful customer interactions while navigating difficult conversations.
• Ensuring compliance with applicable federal, state, and local collection laws, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
