Job summary

Stone Alliance Group seeks an experienced Project Manager to lead a 3PL transition for a Northeast distribution operation moving to a 3PL in the Southeast. This remote, 1099 engagement reports to the CAO and coordinates internal teams, external partners, and executive stakeholders across supply chain, warehousing, logistics, and IT.

The role requires managing the project plan, mitigating risks, tracking milestones, and ensuring a smooth handoff with minimal customer disruption.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, operations or related field.
• PMP or Scrum Master certification is a strong plus.
• 7–10 years of project management in supply chain, logistics or warehouse projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end 3PL transition project and coordinate across teams.
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive project plan with milestones.
• Coordinate stakeholders across supply chain, warehousing, logistics, inventory, IT.
• Ensure processes are prepared to support volumes and timelines.
• Identify delays, constraints, risks, and bottlenecks; mitigate accordingly.
• Create contingency plans to maintain schedule and minimize disruption.
• Establish clear communication and accountability among participants.
• Provide regular status updates, risk assessments, and milestone reports.
• Support smooth handoff and continuity of service during transition.
