Job summary

Stone Alliance Group is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead a 3PL transition for a Northeast distribution operation moving to a SE United States 3PL partner. This is a remote, 1099 independent contractor role aligned to Eastern or Central time zones.

Qualifications

7–10 years of project management experience, focus on supply chain, distribution or warehouse projects.
Experience leading complex transformations with a 3PL partner.
Strong understanding of warehouse distribution, inventory movement and fulfillment.

Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end operational execution of the 3PL transition project.
Develop and maintain a comprehensive project plan with milestones and dependencies.
Coordinate internal and external stakeholders across supply chain, warehousing, logistics and IT.
Ensure processes are ready to support anticipated volumes and timelines.
Monitor progress, identify delays and risks, and implement mitigation plans.
Provide regular status updates and risk assessments to executives.
Support a smooth handoff and continuity of service during transition.
