Job summary

Stone Alliance Group is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead a 3PL transition from the Northeast to a 3PL in the southeastern US, reporting to the CAO. This is a remote, project-based 1099 engagement, requiring alignment with Eastern or Central time zones.

You will coordinate internal teams and external partners, develop a detailed project plan, mitigate risks, and ensure a disruption-free handoff with executive stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Seven to ten years of project management experience in supply chain, distribution, logistics, or warehouse projects.
• Proven track record of executing complex supply chain or operational transformation projects.
• Deep understanding of warehouse distribution, inventory movement, and fulfillment processes.
• Experience managing projects involving third-party logistics providers.
• Proficiency with PM platforms: Asana, Monday.com, Smartsheet, Jira, and Excel.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent organization and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end operational execution of the 3PL transition.
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive project plan with milestones and dependencies.
• Coordinate stakeholders across supply chain, warehouse operations, logistics, inventory, fulfillment, and IT.
• Ensure processes are prepared to support volumes, service expectations, and timelines.
• Monitor progress, identify delays, and manage risks.
• Provide regular status updates, risk assessments, and milestone reporting.
• Support smooth handoff and continuity of service during the transition.
