Job summary

Stone Alliance Group is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead a 3PL transition for a Northeast distribution center moving to a southeast-based 3PL. This is a remote, 1099 independent contractor role, requiring alignment with Eastern or Central Time Zone and occasional travel.

You will develop the project plan, coordinate internal and external stakeholders across supply chain, warehouse, logistics, and IT, monitor risks, and report milestones to executives, ensuring a disruption-free

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of project management experience in supply chain or logistics.
• Proven track record of complex transformation projects.
• Deep understanding of warehouse and distribution operations.
• Experience with 3PL providers preferred.
• Proficiency with PM platforms (Asana, Monday.com, Smartsheet, Jira) and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end operational execution of the 3PL transition.
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive project plan with milestones and dependencies.
• Coordinate stakeholders across supply chain, warehousing, logistics, inventory, and IT.
• Monitor progress, identify delays/risks, and implement mitigations.
• Provide regular status updates and executive reports.
• Support a smooth handoff and continuity of service.
