Job summary

Cosmo 1:1 is seeking experienced tutors to teach math or ELA to North American students through the Cosmo curriculum. You set a flexible 50-minute, one-on-one schedule outside of school hours.

You will deliver personalized instruction, build a welcoming learning environment, and communicate with parents and Cosmo staff. A bachelor’s degree and K-12 teaching experience are required, with reliable internet and a suitable home setup.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree
• 3 years of teaching K-12 ELA or math
• Experience with K-12 ELA or math standards
• Fast, reliable internet
• Win/Mac PC with adequate CPU
• Willing to commit 6+ months
• Available 3–10 PM EST Mon–Fri or weekends
• Minimum 20 hours weekly
• Private and quiet location
• Based in the United States or Canada
• Approachable, patient, and adaptive demeanor

Responsibilities

• Provide personalized 1 on 1 instruction for your students
• Update your availability in the Cosmo App in a timely manner
• Prepare appropriate lesson materials for the student's age and ability
• Submit Class Feedback after each lesson
• Communicate with parents and students in a professional manner
• Attend all classes on time and in a professional setting
• Communicate with Cosmo staff
