Job summary

Epic is based just outside Madison, Wisconsin, and relocation to the Madison area is supported with relocation assistance. As an Operations Center Technician, you’ll monitor real-time alerts, manage access and security systems, and oversee building operations from the Facilities Command Center to ensure business continuity across Epic’s global campuses.

You will coordinate responses during disruptions such as natural disasters or power outages, work with internal teams and emergency services,

Qualifications

• Strong situational awareness and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
• Ability to work in a high-pressure, real-time environment.
• Experience or interest in security operations, emergency response, or a related high-volume field.
• Openness to 2nd and 3rd shift, as well as weekend days.
• Eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
• Relocation to the Madison, WI area (relocation assistance available).
• COVID-19 vaccination.

Responsibilities

• Monitor real-time alerts and manage access and security systems.
• Oversee building operations from the Facilities Command Center to support business continuity.
• Identify and respond to issues using video feeds and system data.
• Coordinate emergency responses during disruptions (natural disasters, outages).
• Collaborate with internal teams and emergency services to restore operations quickly and safely.
