Job summary

System One in Buffalo, NY is seeking a Relocation Coordinator to guide families through the relocation process, coordinate services, and liaise with movers and property managers to ensure smooth transitions.

You will document conversations, manage costs and reimbursements, and maintain privacy policies while delivering high-quality support and mentorship to residents and the Development Team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Direct client interaction and advisory experience preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of products.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary point of contact for administering the relocation process's various phases for residents who qualify for relocation services.
• Oversee the delivery of relocation services and benefits to residents and their families, ensuring high-quality service using CVR’s best practices and standards.
• Proactively provide ongoing advice and support to the Development Team and residents, maintaining regular contact throughout the relocation period.
• Conduct thorough needs assessments at the start of the relocation process to establish resident requirements and address individual needs.
• Work with residents and their families to ensure all needs are understood and met, adjusting services and counseling as needs evolve.
• Guide residents and families through the location selection process, managing and monitoring the home/unit-finding process.
• Perform timely and accurate data input and manage all opportunities through completion.
• Oversee resident moves onsite, coordinating with moving companies, acting as liaison between movers, residents, and property management, and reviewing invoices for payments and reimbursements.
• Review and evaluate exception requests and challenging situations, providing solutions and recommendations to residents and the Project Manager.
• Document conversations, expenses, and correspondence accurately in CVR’s SharePoint system, maintaining data integrity and adhering to privacy policies.
