Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Experience in relocation services, social services, customer service, or similar fields.
• Provide verbal interpretation and written translations as needed.
• Excellent customer service, interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize under strict time constraints.
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs, endure adverse weather, and stand for extended periods.
• Walk up to 4 miles daily and climb stairs.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite; familiarity with databases.
• Must pass pre-employment criminal background screening.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily relocation tasks across multiple sites.
• Survey residents to understand relocation needs and preferences.
• Inventory tenant belongings and note large items, infestation, clutter, and hoarding issues.
• Facilitate resident/community meetings about relocation rights and benefits.
• Prepare notices and ensure residents acknowledge receipt.
• Provide relocation counseling in compliance with regulations.
• Liaise between Housing Opportunities, property management, clients, and residents.
• Produce weekly and monthly reports to clients, project manager, and development team.
• Maintain relocation files, database, lottery list, and tracking reports.
• Create and distribute meeting minutes within 48 hours.
• Pre-inspect units for decent, safe, sanitary standards.
• Notify residents of move-in dates and provide ongoing support.
• Coordinate packing supplies and moving assistance as needed.
• Assist with utility disconnections/reconnections and change-of-address forms.
• Schedule and supervise moves, pest inspection, and unit turnover as required.
• Coordinate with construction and moving teams to ensure vacating and keys surrender.
• Minimize property damage with inventory photos/videos and manage damage claims.
• Interface with residents’ families and social services to ensure service delivery.
• Represent HOU to local/state/federal housing agencies and community groups.
• Attend weekly supervision/site meetings with Project Manager.
• Ensure documents are complete and data-tracking is up-to-date.
