Job summary

POOLCORP is launching the Warehouse Operations Management Trainee (MIT) program in Oregon, offering a six-month, hands-on training track within a bustling distribution warehouse. Participants gain exposure to operations, management and purchasing while receiving coaching and real project work.

Graduates may apply for Operations Supervisor or Manager roles nationwide. Relocation assistance is provided, with a strong emphasis on leadership skills and customer-focused service throughout the program.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Associate’s degree with minimum 2.5 GPA in Industrial Distribution, Supply Chain, Management or related field.
• Willingness to relocate during/after program at company expense.
• Ability to travel 25% and to operate in a distribution warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Receive hands-on training across Operations, Management and Purchasing in the distribution center.
• Observe and learn procedures, performance standards and methods from senior staff.
• Shadow contractors, service providers and retail customers to learn the business.
