Michael Foods, Inc. in Lansing, IL, is seeking a Maintenance Technician L1 to perform preventive and corrective maintenance and support asset reliability improvements at the plant.

The role requires a self-starter, adherence to safety and GMP practices, and availability for 5:00 PM–2:00 AM shifts, including weekends and holidays. SAP experience and ability to read drawings are pluses.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED; Associate’s degree or technical certificate preferred.
• Ability to read and decipher mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and P&ID diagrams.
• Prior experience with SAP preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Participate with reliability and maintenance team to improve safety, quality, delivery and cost.
• Learn and apply Precision Maintenance techniques.
• Perform technical troubleshooting with maintenance staff.
• Assist in maintenance training and reliability procedures for critical spares.
• Support quality commissioning for rebuilt or new equipment.
• Maintain records and support RCA for asset reliability improvements.
