Qualifications

• Three years banking experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Good mathematical and communications skills
• Formal training in banking products and/or processing new accounts
• Good understanding of financial products, loan documentation, and real-estate lending objectives
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office

Responsibilities

• Meet branch production goals and promote bank deposit products
• Open all types of accounts and execute integrated sales and relationship strategies
• Provide referrals to Treasury and Lending specialists for cross-sell
• Conduct sales initiatives following procedures and ensure customer retention
• Maintain customer service standards and ensure total customer satisfaction
• Adhere to account opening protocols and document handling
• Prepare documents and assist customers in signing for accounts
• Input data and maintain new account files
• Process account changes such as address, title or rate updates
• Promote lending products and answer customer questions
• Resolve customer problems per FirstBank Florida service policy
• Assist with overdraft handling and delinquent loans
• Serve as teller backup when needed
• Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations
