Job summary

FirstBank Florida is seeking a Personal Banker to promote bank deposit products, open a variety of accounts, and deliver exceptional customer service. You will work to meet branch goals, process new accounts accurately, and provide referrals to Treasury and Lending teams for cross‑selling opportunities.

The role requires banking experience, strong numeracy, and proficiency with banking products. You will be involved in daily sales initiatives while upholding internal controls and quality service.

Qualifications

• Three years banking experience or in a similar job; equivalent education/experience
• Good mathematical and communications skills
• Formal training in banking products and/or processing new accounts
• Good understanding of financial products, loan documentation, and business objectives of a real-estate lending department
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office

Responsibilities

• Meet branch production goals through proactive selling and service of deposit products and accounts
• Provide qualified referrals to Treasury and Lending specialists for cross-sell
• Promote and execute sales initiatives and ensure customer satisfaction
• Adhere to internal controls and account opening protocols; prepare and process documents for new accounts
• Maintain and update customer account information; respond to questions about services (ATM cards, statements, rates, checks)
• Serve as teller backup and assist in various operational duties
