Job summary

MidFirst Bank seeks a Personal Banker to generate business and deepen relationships by promoting banking products and services. The role emphasizes outstanding customer service, meeting sales goals, and supporting bank staff as needed.

Responsibilities include greeting customers, opening deposit accounts, processing loan applications, handling transactions, and expanding client relationships through referrals. A strong, service-oriented personality and notary willingness are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year successful sales experience in an incentive-driven or relational selling environment; demonstrated performance in meeting and exceeding goals.
• Minimum of 6 months of cash handling experience in a retail sales environment.
• Ability to generate referrals including making on-site visits with local businesses.
• Ability to work effectively as a team member and with customers.
• Strong work ethic and high integrity.
• Proficient with all Microsoft applications (Word, Outlook, Excel etc.).
• Friendly, outgoing, assertive, confident, and enthusiastic personality.
• Must have a current Notary or be willing to become one (pursue application, bond and notary seal) at the Bank’s expense

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and facilitate a welcoming and customer- focused environment
• Provide extraordinary customer service while achieving goals and supporting the banking center staff as needed
• Build and maintain relationships with customers to help identify financial products and services that meet their needs
• Promote financial products and services
• Open deposit accounts and take loan applications, process consumer loan/credit line requests for customers
• Process customer transactions efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a balanced cash drawer and adhering to internal controls and procedures
• Generate new business and expand relationships with current customers through networking and Centers of Influence
• Respond to customer inquiries and concerns and create positive solutions
• Support other employees as needed
