Job summary

Citizens Bank is seeking a Branch Banking Associate to build lasting customer relationships through trusted financial advice. You’ll help clients with spending, saving, borrowing, and investing needs, and promote digital banking solutions. Expect outbound calls to acquire new customers and schedule financial checkups, while following all bank policies.

The role emphasizes strong communication, problem solving, and the ability to adapt to weekend/evening branch hours to meet customer needs.

Qualifications

• 2 years of sales and customer service experience
• Ability to effectively ask questions and identify needs to improve the customer relationship
• Proven success with building relationships and referring products and services
• Experience using digital technology to support business goals
• Aptitude to problem solve and provide solutions to customer issues
• Able to work with teammates and partners across business lines
• Self-motivated and capable of multitasking
• Branch hours may include weekends and evenings

Responsibilities

• Provide recommendations and assist customers with financial solutions for spending, saving, borrowing and investing
• Help customers set personal financial goals and tailor solutions to achieve them
• Introduce customers to digital/mobile banking and guide transactions via app or ATMs
• Collaborate with Wealth Management, Mortgage and Business Banking for more complex needs
• Make outbound calls to acquire new customers and schedule financial checkups
• Adhere to all financial policies and local laws, including cash handling requirements
