Job summary

First Merchants Bank is seeking a Client Relationship Representative to join our Montgomery, IN banking center. This role focuses on delivering exceptional customer service, processing deposits and loans, and promoting digital tools to meet clients' financial needs.

You will work to achieve personal production goals while supporting team metrics. The position requires a high school diploma or GED and at least 1 year of banking or sales experience, with NMLS/S.A.F.E.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year banking or related experience; at least 6 months selling experience.
• S.A.F.E Act registration required at time of employment via NMLS.
• Ability to obtain Notary Public designation.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality customer service by addressing a wide range of banking needs in a fast-paced environment.
• Engage clients to understand financial needs and recommend products and digital solutions.
• Open new consumer and business accounts and process loan applications.
• Use CRM and sales tools to document interactions and incentive activity.
• Ensure compliance with policies and procedures and maintain accurate client records.
