Job summary

First Merchants Bank is seeking a Client Relationship Representative to join our banking center in Michigan. You will deliver high quality customer service, process transactions, open deposits, and help clients with their financial needs while meeting production goals.

You will engage customers, identify opportunities to deepen relationships, and use digital tools to educate on electronic banking products during account openings and onboarding. Prior banking or sales experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• At least 1 year banking, sales, or related experience with at least 6 months selling products or services.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality customer service by addressing a wide range of banking needs and processing transactions.
• Open new consumer and business accounts and process loan applications.
• Educate clients on electronic banking tools during onboarding and account opening.
• Engage in sales and relationship-building activities to meet center goals.
• Support operations and risk/compliance with internal controls.
