First Merchants Bank is seeking a Client Relationship Representative to join our team in Connersville, IN. You will execute on sales and service metrics, open accounts, and process loan applications while delivering a high quality customer experience.

You will engage clients to identify financial needs, explain products and digital tools, and maintain accurate records to support ongoing relationship management. Prior banking or sales experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year banking or sales experience; 6 months selling products/services.
• S.A.F.E Act registration required within 3 months of hire.
• Notary Public designation ability.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong knowledge of bank products and services.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality customer service by handling banking needs and opening accounts.
• Process deposits, loans, and other transactions with accuracy and adherence to policy.
• Identify growth opportunities and cross-sell products and digital tools.
• Maintain accurate client records and support relationship management.
• Assist Banking Center Manager with audits, controls, and operations.
