Job summary

Truist in the United States (Maryland) seeks a Universal Banker to deliver superior client experiences through accurate transactions and attentive service.

You will educate clients on digital banking, support sales with outbound outreach, and collaborate with branch teams to meet financial needs while following controls and risk policies. Occasional weekends/extended hours and local travel may be required to align with branch demands and client opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent education.
• Two years of teller or cash handling or client service experience.
• Six months of client relationship building or sales experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including a desire to interact with clients and prospects.
• Ability to master PC keyboard and software for branch automation.
• Ability to multi-task under time constraints.
• Proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office.
• Ability to travel to accommodate temporary staffing needs and locale changes.
• Ability to work weekends and/or extended hours with occasional travel and overnights may be included.

Responsibilities

• Provide a distinctive client experience by engaging clients and completing complex and standard transactions.
• Educate clients on digital, self-service solutions including ATMs, Online and Mobile banking.
• Support team sales process by outbound calls, checking for client offers, and identifying client needs or opportunities by referral.
• Understand Integrated Relationship Management (IRM) to deliver Truist solutions for client needs.
• Participate in all components of the established Truist Retail Community Bank Leadership Routines.
• Commit to advancing product knowledge to better serve consumer and business clients through training.
• Adhere to internal controls, operational procedures and risk management policies.
• Serve as secondary contact for new account openings and problem resolution, offering applicable products and services to clients and prospects.
