Job summary

Truist in Washington, DC is seeking a Part Time Universal Banker to provide timely client service, handle transactions, educate on digital banking, and support sales and Integrated Relationship Management.

You will cross-train to assist with outbound calls, build client relationships, and comply with policies while adapting to branch demands. The role requires a high school diploma and strong communication; weekend and some travel may be needed. The position offers benefits as described.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two years of teller or cash handling or client service experience.
• Six months of client relationship building or sales experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task and use PC software for branch automation.
• Willingness to travel to accommodate temporary staffing needs.
• Ability to work weekends and extended hours with possible travel.

Responsibilities

• Provide a distinctive client experience by engaging clients with courteous conversation and handling complex and standard transactions.
• Educate clients on digital, self-service solutions including ATMs, Online and Mobile banking.
• Support team sales by outbound client outreach and identifying needs or opportunities.
• Understand Integrated Relationship Management (IRM) to deliver Truist expertise and solutions.
• Participate in all components of the Retail Community Bank Leadership routines.
• Advance product knowledge through training and meetings to better serve clients.
• Adhere to internal controls, policies, and risk management guidelines.
• Serve as secondary contact for new accounts and problem resolution.
