Job summary

Truist is seeking a Universal Banker in the United States, Virginia. You will provide timely, accurate client transactions and deliver a distinctive client experience, while educating clients on digital banking options.

The role involves outbound client outreach, supporting Integrated Relationship Management (IRM) activities, and participating in branch sales and service processes. Regular weekends and extended hours may be required. Ongoing training to expand product knowledge will be provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent education.
• Two years of teller or cash handling or client service experience.
• Six months of client relationship building or sales experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to master PC keyboard and software skills necessary for branch automation.
• Ability to multi-task under time constraints.
• Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office.
• Ability to travel to accommodate temporary staffing needs as required to include temporary assignment or locale changes.
• Ability to work weekends and/or extended hours with occasional travel and overnights may be included.

Responsibilities

• Provide a distinctive client experience by engaging clients and handling transactions.
• Educate clients on digital self-service solutions such as ATMs Online and Mobile banking.
• Support sales by outbound calls and identifying client needs.
• Understand Integrated Relationship Management (IRM) for tailored solutions for clients.
• Participate in Retail Community Bank Leadership routines.
• Attend training and improve product knowledge.
• Adhere to internal controls and risk management policies.
• Serve as secondary contact for new accounts and problem resolution.
