Job summary

Truist is seeking a Universal Banker in the United States to provide outstanding client service, process transactions, and educate customers on digital banking tools. You will support sales efforts, participate in IRM activities, and ensure compliance with internal controls while working in a dynamic branch environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two years teller or cash handling or client service experience.
• Six months of client relationship building or sales experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including a desire to interact with clients and prospects.
• Ability to master PC keyboard and software skills necessary for branch automation.
• Ability to multi‑task under time constraints.
• Demonstrated proficiency in basic software applications such as Microsoft Office.
• Ability to travel to accommodate temporary staffing needs as required, including temporary assignments or locale changes.
• Ability to work weekends and/or extended hours with occasional travel and overnights.

Responsibilities

• Provide a distinctive client experience to ensure a consistent service level by engaging clients with smiling, courteous conversation, and handling complex transactions as needed.
• Educate clients on digital self‑service solutions including ATMs, Online and Mobile banking to improve service experience.
• Support sales by outbound client outreach, checking offers, and identifying client needs to refer to branch staff or specialists.
• Understand Integrated Relationship Management (IRM) to deliver Truist expertise and solutions for clients’ needs.
• Participate in Truist Retail Community Bank Leadership routines and meetings.
• Advance product knowledge to better serve consumer and business clients via trainings.
• Adhere to internal controls, policies, and risk management guidelines.
• Serve as secondary contact for new account openings and problem resolution, handling volume based on branch demands.
