Job summary

Truist is seeking a Universal Banker to provide exceptional client service, process transactions, and identify client financial needs in a fast-paced branch setting. You will educate clients on digital tools and support sales through outreach and referrals.

The role emphasizes relationship-building, adherence to controls, and ongoing training to expand product knowledge and serve both consumer and business clients. Regular shift with potential travel as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two years of teller, cash handling or client service experience.
• Six months of client relationship building or sales experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to master PC keyboard and branch automation software.
• Ability to multitask under time constraints.
• Proficiency in basic computer applications such as Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Provide a distinctive client experience and execute transactions while maintaining accurate records.
• Educate clients on digital self-service banking options (ATMs, Online and Mobile banking).
• Support sales by outbound client outreach and identifying needs for branch referrals.
• Understand and apply Integrated Relationship Management (IRM) to deliver Truist expertise to clients.
• Participate in Retail Community Bank Leadership routines and training sessions.
• Commit to expanding product knowledge through meetings and learning.
• Adhere to internal controls and risk management policies; stay updated on policies.
