Job summary

Community Financial System, Inc. (CFSI) seeks a Relationship Banking Representative to act as a frontline ambassador, delivering a consistent, customer-centric banking experience across teller and desk duties.

This role involves listening to customer needs, educating on products and digital tools, and guiding referrals while strictly following bank policies and security standards. Flexibility for travel to training or nearby branches may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Internal product knowledge, teller, and platform training preferred.
• Ability to attend a 5–7 day initial training program; company covers travel expenses.
• Reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a welcoming, professional customer experience in the lobby.
• Process transactions and educate customers on features and tools.
• Open/close accounts, initiate wire transfers, and handle service requests.
• Educate customers on digital banking tools and self-service options.
• Assist with issue resolution and coordinate with internal partners for timely outcomes.
• Manage customer flow and scheduling to minimize wait times.
