Job summary

Community Financial System, Inc. (CFSI) is seeking a Relationship Banking Representative to act as a frontline ambassador, delivering a consistent, customer-centric banking experience.

You will blend teller duties with consultative conversations to build trust and deepen relationships. You will educate customers on products and digital tools, open/close accounts, and coordinate with internal partners to resolve issues while upholding bank policies and security standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Internal product knowledge, teller and platform training preferred.
• Ability to attend a 5–7 day initial training program; travel may be required; company covers travel expenses.
• Reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a welcoming, professional, and personalized customer experience in-branch.
• Listen actively to understand customer needs and guide financial conversations.
• Process teller transactions, open/close accounts, and assist with transfers and service requests.
• Educate customers on digital banking tools and self-service options.
• Coordinate with internal partners to resolve issues and ensure timely resolutions.
• Support branch goals through needs-based conversations and relationship-building.
