Job summary

Community Financial System, Inc. (CFSI) is seeking a Relationship Banking Representative to serve as a frontline ambassador of the bank, blending teller and desk duties with consultative conversations that deepen customer relationships.

You will educate clients on products and digital tools, handle standard transactions, and coordinate with internal partners to resolve issues while maintaining policy compliance and security.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Internal product knowledge, teller, and platform training preferred.
• Attend a 5–7 day initial training program; company covers travel expenses.
• Reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a welcoming, professional customer experience during every interaction.
• Open new accounts, close accounts, initiate wire transfers, and educate customers on features.
• Educate customers on digital banking tools and self-service options.
• Assist with balance discrepancies and debit card issues; coordinate with internal teams.
• Support branch operations and travel to nearby branches as needed.
• Participate in branch meetings and training programs to enhance knowledge.
