Job summary

Community Financial System, Inc. (CFSI) is seeking a Relationship Banking Representative to act as a frontline ambassador in our branch network. The role spans teller and desk duties, delivering a consistent, customer-focused experience and guiding customers through daily banking needs.

You will listen to customer goals, educate on products and digital tools, and refer complex needs to specialists. This position emphasizes compliant, risk-aware service and ongoing development.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Two years of customer service and/or banking experience.
• Willingness to travel to multiple branches and undergo training.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a welcoming, professional customer experience in the lobby.
• Open new accounts, close accounts, initiate wire transfers, and educate customers on features.
• Assist customers with balance issues, debit card concerns, and coordinate with internal teams for resolution.
• Educate customers on digital banking tools and self-service options.
• Manage customer flow and schedule appointments to optimize service levels.
• Support branch operations and contribute to compliance and risk initiatives.
