Job summary

Community Financial System, Inc. (CFSI) is seeking a Relationship Banking Representative to act as a frontline ambassador, blending teller and desk responsibilities to deliver a consistent, customer-centric banking experience.

You will listen to customers, educate them on products and digital tools, and guide referrals that support financial well-being while following bank policies and security standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Internal product knowledge, teller, and platform training preferred.
• Ability to attend a 5–7 day initial training program, which may involve overnight travel; company covers travel expenses.
• Reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Deliver welcoming, professional customer experience in every interaction.
• Educate customers on products, services, and digital tools.
• Open new accounts, process wire transfers, and support service requests.
• Educate customers on digital banking tools and self-service options.
• Assist with issues like balance discrepancies and debit card fraud.
• Travel to support branch staffing and coverage as needed.
