Job summary

Citizens Bank is seeking a branch-facing associate to build lasting customer relationships by offering trusted financial advice and solutions. You’ll help with spending, saving, borrowing and investing, and promote digital banking options to clients.

The role requires strong communication, problem-solving skills, and a track record in sales and customer service. Typical hours include weekends/evenings with a 40-hour workweek in a retail banking environment.

Qualifications

• High School degree or GED required.
• 2 years of sales and customer service experience.
• Ability to effectively ask questions and identify needs to improve the customer relationship.
• Proven success with building relationships, and recommending and referring products and services through in-person and phone interactions.
• Demonstrated skills in using digital technology to support the delivery of business goals.
• Meet SAFE Act pre-employment checks including obtaining a unique identifier from the NMLS.

Responsibilities

• Provide recommendations and assist customers with financial solutions.
• Help customers with spending, saving, borrowing and investing needs.
• Introduce customers to digital and mobile banking platforms and apps.
• Collaborate with Wealth Management, Mortgage and Business Banking partners.
• Make outbound calls to acquire new customers and schedule financial checkups.
