Job summary

Citizens Bankers are the face of the branch, building lasting relationships by offering trusted advice and guiding customers through financial solutions. You’ll help with spending, saving, borrowing and investing needs, while promoting digital banking and collaborating with Wealth Management, Mortgage and Business Banking partners.

We value strong communication and problem-solving skills and expect you to engage with customers in-person and over the phone.

Qualifications

• 2 years of sales and customer service experience, demonstrating an ability to meet or exceed goals
• Ability to effectively ask questions and identify needs to improve the customer relationship
• Proven success with building relationships, and recommending and referring products and services through in-person and phone interactions
• Demonstrated skills in using digital technology to support the delivery of business goals
• Aptitude to problem solve and provide solutions to customer issues
• Recognized ability to strengthen relationships with teammates, business partners and specialists through collaboration
• Self-motivated, confident and ability to multitask effectively
• Ability to work branch hours, which can include weekends and evenings
• Meet and comply with all requirements set forth in the SAFE Act, including, but not limited to successful completion of the pre-employment screening checks and obtaining a unique identifier from the NMLS.
• Qualified candidates must complete a video interview assessment after applying as the next step, to be completed within 7 days of receiving the link.

Responsibilities

• Provide trusted advice and financial solutions to customers across spending, saving, borrowing and investing needs
• Assist customers with financial goals and tailored recommendations
• Introduce customers to digital and mobile banking through apps and ATMs
• Collaborate with Wealth Management, Mortgage and Business Banking teams for complex needs
• Make outbound calls to acquire new customers and schedule financial checkups
• Follow all financial policies and procedures including cash handling and regulatory requirements
