Job summary

Citizens Bankers are the face of the branch, helping customers with important financial decisions and building lasting relationships. You will provide trusted advice and promote digital banking tools while supporting spending, saving, borrowing and investing needs.

In this role, you will meet personal financial goals with tailored solutions, assist with home purchases or new credit cards, and collaborate with Wealth Management and Mortgage teams.

Qualifications

• 2 years of sales and customer service experience
• Ability to effectively ask questions and identify needs to improve the customer relationship
• Proven success with building relationships, and recommending and referring products and services through in-person and phone interactions
• Demonstrated skills in using digital technology to support the delivery of business goals
• Aptitude to problem solve and provide solutions to customer issues
• Recognized ability to strengthen relationships with teammates, business partners and specialists through collaboration
• Self-motivated, confident and ability to multitask effectively
• Ability to work branch hours, which can include weekends and evenings
• Meet and comply with all requirements set forth in the SAFE Act, including, but not limited to successful completion of the pre-employment screening checks and obtaining a unique identifier from the NMLS.

Responsibilities

• Provide recommendations and assist customers with financial solutions
• Promote digital and mobile-first banking methods
• Build lasting relationships through friendly, proactive service
• Collaborate with Wealth Management, Mortgage and Business Banking teams for complex needs
• Make outbound calls to acquire new customers and schedule financial checkups
• Follow all financial policies and procedures including cash handling and regulatory requirements
