Job summary

Citizens Bank is seeking a friendly, people-oriented Bank Customer Service Associate to help customers achieve their financial goals. You will explain products, solve problems, and build lasting relationships through in-person and phone interactions.

You will guide clients on spending, saving, borrowing and investing needs while introducing digital banking options. You will coordinate with Wealth Mgmt, Mortgage and Business Banking teams to address more complex requirements and drive branch

Qualifications

• High School degree or GED required
• 2 years of sales and customer service experience
• Ability to effectively ask questions and identify needs to improve the customer relationship
• Proven success with building relationships, and recommending and referring products and services
• Demonstrated skills in using digital technology to support business goals
• Aptitude to problem solve and provide solutions to customer issues
• Collaborative mindset with teammates, partners and specialists
• Self-motivated, confident and able to multitask
• Ability to work branch hours, including weekends and evenings
• SAFE Act compliance including pre-employment checks and NMLS identifier

Responsibilities

• Provide recommendations and assist customers with financial solutions across spending, saving, borrowing and investing needs
• Introduce customers to digital and mobile-first banking options
• Collaborate with Wealth Management, Mortgage and Business Banking teams for complex needs
• Make outbound calls to acquire new customers and schedule financial checkups
• Follow all financial policies and cash handling procedures
