Job summary

Citizens Bank in Barrington, RI is seeking a friendly, outgoing Banking Associate who will greet customers, provide trusted advice, and support everyday financial needs. You will help with spending, saving, borrowing and investing, and introduce customers to digital banking options.

You’ll work 40 hours per week, including some weekends and evenings, with competitive pay and benefits. Starting pay is $25 per hour, with potential incentive earnings.

Qualifications

• High School degree or GED required.
• 2 years of sales and customer service experience.
• Ability to identify needs and ask questions to improve the relationship.
• Proven success in building relationships and referring products.
• Ability to use digital technology to support business goals.
• Aptitude to problem solve and provide solutions to customer issues.
• Ability to collaborate with teammates and partners.
• Self-motivated with multitasking ability.
• Ability to work branch hours, including weekends and evenings.
• Meet SAFE Act requirements including pre-employment checks and NMLS.

Responsibilities

• Provide financial recommendations and assist customers with solutions for spending, saving, borrowing and investing needs.
• Get to know customers' financial goals and tailor solutions to help achieve them.
• Introduce customers to digital and mobile banking options and guide usage.
• Collaborate with Wealth Mgmt, Mortgage and Business Banking for complex needs.
• Make outbound calls to acquire new customers and schedule financial checkups.
