Job summary

Citizens Bank in Burlington, MA is hiring a Branch-based Banker to build relationships and provide trusted financial guidance. You’ll help customers with spending, saving, borrowing and investing needs, offering tailored solutions and guiding them to digital banking tools.

As a people‑person, you’ll engage customers, schedule financial checkups, and collaborate with Wealth Management, Mortgage and Business Banking partners to meet diverse needs while adhering to all policies and cash handling

Qualifications

• High School degree or GED required.
• 2 years of sales and customer service experience.
• Ability to ask questions and identify needs to improve the customer relationship.
• Proven success with building relationships, and recommending and referring products and services through in-person and phone interactions.
• Demonstrated skills in using digital technology to support the delivery of business goals.
• Aptitude to problem solve and provide solutions to customer issues.
• Recognized ability to strengthen relationships with teammates, business partners and specialists through collaboration.
• Self‑motivated, confident and ability to multitask effectively.
• Ability to work branch hours, which can include weekends and evenings.
• Meet and comply with all requirements set forth in the SAFE Act, including, but not limited to successful completion of the pre‑employment screening checks and obtaining a unique identifier from the NMLS.

Responsibilities

• Provide trusted financial advice and solutions to customers.
• Assist customers with spending, saving, borrowing and investing needs.
• Ask questions to understand customer goals and offer tailored solutions.
• Introduce customers to digital banking and mobile app usage; assist with transactions.
• Collaborate with Wealth Management, Mortgage and Business Banking partners for complex needs.
• Make outbound calls to acquire new customers and schedule financial checkups.
• Follow all financial policies and cash handling procedures.
