Job summary

Citizens Bankers is looking for a branch-facing teammate who enjoys helping customers and offering trusted financial advice. You’ll support spending, saving, borrowing and investing needs, while guiding clients toward digital banking tools and tailored solutions aligned with their goals.

You’ll collaborate with Wealth Management, Mortgage and Business Banking teams for more complex needs, and you may schedule checkups with new and existing customers.

Qualifications

• High School degree or GED required.
• 2 years of sales and customer service experience.
• Ability to effectively ask questions and identify needs to improve the customer relationship.
• Proven success with building relationships, and recommending and referring products and services through in-person and phone interactions.
• Demonstrated skills in using digital technology to support the delivery of business goals.
• Aptitude to problem solve and provide solutions to customer issues.
• Recognized ability to strengthen relationships with teammates, business partners and specialists through collaboration.
• Self-motivated, confident and ability to multitask effectively.
• Ability to work branch hours, which can include weekends and evenings.
• Meet and comply with all requirements set forth in the SAFE Act, including, but not limited to successful completion of the pre-employment screening checks and obtaining a unique identifier from the NMLS.

Responsibilities

• Provide financial recommendations and assist customers with financial solutions.
• Help customers with spending, saving, borrowing and investing needs.
• Introduce customers to digital and mobile-first banking options.
• Collaborate with Wealth Management, Mortgage and Business Banking partners for complex needs.
• Make outbound calls to acquire new customers and schedule financial checkups.
