Job summary

Citizens Bank is seeking enthusiastic team members to act as the face of the branch, helping customers with financial needs and planning for their goals. You’ll build lasting relationships through sound advice, cash handling, and a strong knowledge of banking products.

Join us to guide customers in planning for the future, buying a home, or opening new credit cards, while promoting digital and mobile banking and collaborating with Wealth Management, Mortgage, and Business Banking teams.

Qualifications

• High School degree or GED required.
• 2 years of sales and customer service experience.
• Ability to effectively ask questions and identify needs to improve the customer relationship.
• Proven success with building relationships, and recommending and referring products and services through in-person and phone interactions.
• Demonstrated skills in using digital technology to support the delivery of business goals.
• Aptitude to problem solve and provide solutions to customer issues.
• Recognized ability to strengthen relationships with teammates, business partners and specialists through collaboration.
• Self-motivated, confident and ability to multitask effectively.
• Ability to work branch hours, which can include weekends and evenings.
• Meet and comply with all requirements set forth in the SAFE Act, including, but not limited to successful completion of the pre-employment screening checks and obtaining a unique identifier from the NMLS.

Responsibilities

• Provide recommendations and assist customers with financial solutions.
• Introduce customers to digital and mobile banking apps and ATMs.
• Collaborate with Wealth Management, Mortgage and Business Banking teams.
• Make outbound calls to acquire new customers and schedule financial checkups.
• Follow all bank policies and cash handling procedures.
