Job summary

Truist is seeking a Relationship Banker to deliver industry-leading client service and build strong client relationships in a retail bank setting. You will provide financial solutions through consultative conversations and referrals to partners, while also performing teller duties when needed.

The role emphasizes meeting sales targets, expanding relationships, and advancing knowledge of sales techniques. Some travel, weekends, and extended hours may be required as part of branch operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or higher preferred.
• 4 years of client sales and service experience.
• Experience sourcing and prospecting for new clients and building relationships.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficiency in basic computer applications including Microsoft Office.
• Must be SAFE compliant within 30 days, including NMLS checks.
• Ability to multi-task under time constraints.
• Travel to accommodate temporary staffing needs and locale changes.
• Ability to work weekends and extended hours; some travel and overnights may be needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide industry-leading client service and expand client relationships.
• Offer financial solutions based on consultative conversations and referrals.
• Cross-train to perform teller duties as needed.
• Maintain and resolve client requests and sales opportunities.
• Support branch sales targets through proactive engagement and referrals.

• Advise on consumer lending options and take loan applications.
