Job summary

Truist is seeking a Relationship Banker to provide outstanding client service in person and by phone while expanding and cross-selling relationships. You will handle routine maintenance, advise on consumer lending options, and support teller duties as needed.

The role requires a high school diploma, 2 years of client sales/service experience, and strong communication skills. Expect sales targets, compliance with policies, and occasional travel or weekend hours.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent education.
• 2 years of client sales and service experience.
• Experience with sourcing and prospecting for new clients and client relationship building.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including a desire to interact with clients and prospects.
• Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office.
• Must be SAFE (Mortgage Licensing Act) compliant within 30 days of employment and pass an NMLS background check.
• Ability to multi-task under time constraints.
• Ability to travel to accommodate temporary staffing needs as required, including locale changes.
• Ability to work weekends and/or extended hours with occasional travel and overnights.

Responsibilities

• Provide industry leading client service in person and over the phone to develop and expand client relationships.
• Accept and process loans and refer opportunities to business partners for growth.
• Cross-train to perform teller duties as needed and support branch targets.
• Engage clients with courtesy and identify financial needs during transactions.
• Participate in sales routines and trainings to improve product knowledge and service quality.
