Job summary

Truist Wealth is seeking a Relationship Banker to deliver industry-leading client service through development and expansion of client relationships. The role covers sales, lending guidance, and readiness to perform teller duties when needed, within a regular first shift in the United States.

Responsibilities include meeting branch sales targets, conducting consultative conversations, and referring complex needs to specialists while adhering to controls and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 4 years of client sales and service experience.
• Experience sourcing and prospecting for new clients.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Must be SAFE compliant within 30 days of employment including NMLS background check.
• Ability to multi-task under time constraints.
• Ability to travel to accommodate temporary staffing needs and weekends/extended hours.

Responsibilities

• Exercises advanced proficiency with routine client maintenance requests, problem resolution and advanced sales functions regarding deposit, credit, convenience and other product and service lines.
• Contributes to meeting or exceeding client service and branch sales targets by offering products and expanding relationships.
• Supports team sales process by consultative conversations and referring complex client needs to internal specialists.
• Participates in the Truist Retail Community Bank Leadership routines.
• Attends sales, service and product knowledge training classes and web-based learning to enhance knowledge.
• Advises on consumer lending options and takes loan applications.
• Adheres to internal controls and risk management policies; stays informed of policy updates.
• Leads sales initiatives within the branch as an expert resource.
• Provides professional client service with a friendly, helpful approach during transactions.
