Job summary

Commercial Bank is seeking a Relationship Banker to assist customers with new and existing depository accounts, personal lending, and transaction needs. You will promote products and services while upholding bank policies and delivering excellent service.

Responsibilities include opening accounts, originating mortgage and personal loan applications, and coordinating with other departments to meet customer needs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of banking or related experience.
• Associate’s Degree preferred.
• NMLS registration within 3 months of hire.
• Notary Public certification within 3 months of hire.
• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
• Excellent interpersonal, analytical, written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Discuss and recommend Commercial Bank’s products and services based on customer needs.
• Create and discuss proposals for prospects and customers.
• Open consumer and business depository accounts.
• Assist in mortgage and personal loan origination.
• Assist in loan closings with borrowers.
• Coordinate with peer departments to meet customer needs and ensure satisfaction.
• Maintain knowledge of products and procedures for selling, opening and servicing.
• Process customer transactions and changes accurately and efficiently.
• Adhere to bank policies, procedures and training requirements.
