Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; and minimum of one year experience in customer service, retail sales and service position with cash handling, or a similar role.
• Associates or Bachelors degree with concentration in accounting, business, finance, economics or a related field preferred.
• FIS/IBS (Integrated Banking Solutions) experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Grow existing relationships and acquire new ones through sales, lead management, and cross selling.
• Deliver exceptional customer service aligned with the bank's mission, engaging customers professionally and solution-oriented.
• Maintain knowledge of bank products and services and cross-sell to meet customer needs.
• Present a confident and professional demeanor to build trust and identify customer financial needs.
• Meet with customers to conduct financial needs assessments, open new accounts (checking, savings, CDs, IRAs) and discuss/sell loan products.
• Promote online and mobile banking capabilities to customers.
• Meet service quality standards and assist in coaching branch staff.
• Process customer transactions efficiently, balance cash drawer, and operate teller equipment.
• Serve as Vault Teller, manage currency/coin orders within limits.
• Participate in community events and CRA initiatives.
• Report significant issues and maintain regulatory compliance.
• Adhere to all policies and the code of conduct.
